ACT for Juniors

The district is offering the ACT to all Juniors in the district on Wednesday, April 19.  Juniors will complete the ACT pre-registration on Tuesday, March 7 during homebase.  

Important Information regarding the ACT on Wednesday, April 19, 2017
  • Testing will begin at 7:20 AM

  • Junior students are required to test

  • Juniors attending the DACC will need to report to OOHS for testing

  • There is no cost to take the test

  • Other grades cannot test on this date

  • Students do not need to sign up for this administration of the ACT

  • There is no writing portion of the ACT offered on this date

  • Students will receive their results via U.S. mail within 3-8 weeks of testing

  • Students can find practice ACT tests by visiting and search for the key words “Practice Tests”

  • Students will not be permitted to bring cell phones, electronic devices, or book bags into ACT testing rooms. Please make arrangements to securely store them elsewhere.

  • Students will be required to bring pencils, a calculator, and a photo ID with them to testing. Photo ID can be a school or state issued ID

COURSE NAME: Science ACT Preparation 



The ACT Review will be holding its annual ACT Bootcamp at Orange High School during two of the four hour testing delays this spring.  The first half of the course will take place on March 29th with the second half of the course following on April 7th. This is a great opportunity for juniors to engage in test preparation before the April 19th ACT that will be given to all 11th graders.  See the flyer for more details.
