ACT - The Academy for Community Transition (ACT) is an Olentangy Local School District program designed to help students with special needs prepare for life after graduation. ACT provides participants with supervised work experiences in the classroom and community. Students will develop skills necessary to transition into community based programming and/or community employment. The program is tailored to the specific needs of students and provides training in job exploration, specific job skills, workplace readiness training, instruction in self-advocacy, community safety, and work based learning experiences.
