The Academy for Community Transition is an Olentangy Local School District program designed to help students prepare for life after graduation. The program is designed for students in current high school Specialized Learning Center (SLC) programs that have met all academic requirements, completed four years of high school, and wish to participate in postsecondary job training. Project SEARCH is a one-year high school transition program which provides training and education leading to employment for individuals with disabilities. Each student applies and is accepted to the program through a selection committee process. All students must be eligible for services with the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities to participate.
